- Description
- This is a requirement for the overhaul of the B-1 hydraulic servovalve. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the B-1 hydraulic servovalve. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 1650-01-189-4270, P/N: AV24E3125-2; Noun hydraulic servovalve; Applicable to B-1 aircraft; Quantity: Basic Year, 20 each; Option I, 20 each; Option II, 20 each; Option III, 20 each; Option IV, 20 each. Item 0002: Over and Above Work. Item 0003: Data IAW DD 1423. Deliveries are to be 5 each per month 30 days after receipt of order and reparables. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 25 Mar 2005. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
