- Description
- The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles in the District of Connecticut. The vehicles will include production sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract with a contract term of a base year with 4 one-year options, for a total of 5 years. THIS SOLICITATION IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. It is anticipated that solicitation number DJMS-05-Q-0002 will be issued on or about March 15, 2005. The estimated response time will be on or about April 15, 2005. This solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Admininstration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web-site: http://www.eps.gov. The EPS provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the EPS site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS site to ensure they have the most up-to-date infromation about this acquisition.
