Description

Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) intends to issue a modification to extend an existing contract, SP0410-00-D-0576, previously awarded as a result of a competitive 8(a) solicitation, to Cherokee Information Services, Inc, Crystal City, Virginia. The contract covers comprehensive acquisition support services for DSCR. The current period of performance expires 04 August 2005. The Government intends to extend the period of performance through full operational capability of Business Systems Modernization, estimated completion date September 30, 2006, but under no circumstance will the requirement exceed $21M. This extension will allow the Government to successfully migrate from its current material management system, Standard Automated Material Management System (SAMMS), to BSM. Note 22 applies.
