Description
NSN: 5930-00-871-7280. SWITCH, TOGGLE. Critical Application Item. In accordance with, IAW, the Army Communications cage code (80063) drawing number SM-C-596617. Full and open competition applies with restrictions to small business concerns. Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) is required except for the approved / waived manufacturing sources: Honeywell Micro-Switch, cage code (91929), part number 6AT124-T and Andrea Systems, cage code (03487) part number 1105P125. All proposals offering material from other than the waived manufactures shall be completely responsive to the solicited First Article Testing clauses in order to be considered for the proposed contract. The technical bid set is available. The proposed procurement is an Indefinite Quantity Contract not to exceed 3 years, i.e. 1 base year / 365 days and includes 2 ? one year options (730 days) that may be exercised by the government procurement agency. Various increments solicited for the quantities from 180 each to 3000 each. Estimated Annual demand is 1488 each. All proposals shall be for Origin Inspection/Acceptance and the supplies will be subject to Product Verification Testing and Acceptance Testing if determined to be in the best interest of the Government. Price may be a significant factor in evaluation of offers, the final award decision shall be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
