- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard National Maritime Center (NMC) is accepting quotes for a computer server. This is a firm fixed supply contract and is not performance based. Vendors may substitute different manufacturers (except software) but the configuration and requirements must remain the same. Low price will account for 80% of the award and the proposed components list will account for 20% of the award. Server will be built and shipped complete to the NMC. Software will be loaded and the media shipped with the server. Contract will be considered complete once the server is placed on the network and operating as required. Vendor questions and answers will be posted on FEDBIZOPS as supplements to this solicitation. It is highly recommended that vendors register to receive notifications to this synopsis/solicitation. By submission of a quote, the responder acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of this contract. Quotes may be submitted electronically as an email attachment, by fax, or by USPS. Email is the preferred method to submit quotes. Quotes should be prepared on company letterhead, cite companies Federal Tax ID Number and DUNS. Certification of companies size and concern type should also be included. Information concerning this can be found at FAR 52.212.-3 (www.arnet.gov). Quotes must contain the proposed parts and manufacturer part numbers and the total price for the completed server. Individual parts do not have to be priced out. Quotes should be prepared as FOB Destination.
