- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for the following: Wax Fischer-Tropsch Dispersion CC5029 for Cylinder Wipe Intaglio Currency in accordance with BEP Specification W; FT-IB Dated June 5, 1995. BEP Specification is available upon request. Vendor may be required to submit material samples to the Bureau for acceptability testing prior to award. The simplified acquisition procedures set for the in FAR Pats 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation: therefore, a written request for quotation will be issued. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The applicable NAIC (formerly SIC) code is 422690 and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ number is 0379). The total quantity is 12000 pounds. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to the BEP Landover Warehouse 3201 Pennsy Drive, Landover Maryland. Delivery is request within 45 days after receipt of order. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price alone. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency, Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, and the proposed extended price any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUN number, and status(i.e., small businesses disadvantaged business or woman own business). If this item is available under GSA schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due March 13, 2005 at 2:00pm.
