Description
Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC) plans to re-compete its Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services II (CAASII) contract to meet its continuing requirement for contracted support on a worldwide basis within the broad range of Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS). This covers, three major categories of A&AS: Management and Professional Support Services; Studies, Analyses, and Evaluations; and Engineering and Technical. All HQ ACC directorates are considered primary using activities for this contract effort; however, other organizations and agencies assigned to support ACC may require similar CAAS services on an as needed basis. The current CAAS II contract provides for A&AS to HQ ACC directorates as well as the 505th Command and Control Wing at Hurlburt Field, Fl. The contract serves as a vehicle to provide broadened technical and analytical tools, support or improve policy development, management, and administration, or improve the operation of systems supporting the mission. Services are also required during several phases of planning, programming, acquisition, and implementation cycles of various Government systems, and compliments the Government?s technical expertise in accomplishing its? mission. All services requested under this contract are non-personal in nature and requested by a Task Order generated by the applicable functional area and Contracting Officer (CO). The ACC PMS/XR in partnership with ACC CONS is planning an Industry Day Forum for 4 Apr 05. The government will brief the CAAS III requirement, answer questions from industry, and provide an opportunity for interest parties to exchange information not only with the government but also possible teaming members. To help with the planning of this event and to determine meeting space requirements, we request that contractors limit attendance to two (2) representatives. Please acknowledge your intention to attend via e-mail with your companies name, number of representatives, and Point of Contact to robert.stein@langley.af.mil ACC PMS/XRP no later than 11 Mar 05. Your responses are important so the government can secure adequate meeting space for the forum. The government will publish meeting location after 11 Mar 05.
