Description
CANCELLATION NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1069-5Z7044 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 01-24. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332995 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. However this requirement is unrestricted and all interested offerors may submit a quote. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 10:30:00 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Springfield, VA 22153 The Department of State requires the following items, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL, to the following: LI 001, BATTLELAB WEAPONS PC SIGHT (see document attached to www.FedBid.com Auction for extended specifications. If bidding equal, must meet or exceed ALL required specifications to be considered for award), 35, EA; LI 002, BATTLELAB SLEDGE- Alti-tools MUST feature a collapsible handle which must extend to 28? in length and 17? when collapsed. Must be made from top grade Titanium and Aircraft Aluminum alloy for superior strength, durability, and light weight. All tolls must be designed for part replacement if any problems should occur, without having to purchase another tool. Must be able to adapt to multiple tool heads, 5, EA; LI 003, BATTLELAB HOULY- Alti-tools MUST feature a collapsible handle which must extend to 28? in length and 17? when collapsed. Must be made from top grade Titanium and Aircraft Aluminum alloy for superior strength, durability, and light weight. All tolls must be designed for part replacement if any problems should occur, without having to purchase another tool. Must be able to adapt to multiple tool heads, 5, EA; LI 004, BATTLELAB HINGEBREAKER- Alti-tools MUST feature a collapsible handle which must extend to 28? in length and 17? when collapsed. Must be made from top grade Titanium and Aircraft Aluminum alloy for superior strength, durability, and light weight. All tolls must be designed for part replacement if any problems should occur, without having to purchase another tool. Must be able to adapt to multiple tool heads, 5, EA; LI 005, BATTLELAB RAM- RAM MUST be able to be filled with many different materials for example: sand, water, etc. The Ram must have an articulating handle which takes the stress off of the wrists and gives an even shift in momentum through the toughest doors. Empty weight is 26 lbs., 5, EA; LI 006, BATTLELAB SAW- must feature an anti-vibration system and a decompression valve for easy starting. The three stage air filtration system is 99.96% effective in filtering dust particles and other wearing agents before reaching the engine. This machine can be used with either 14? or 16? blades when deeper cuts are required., 5, EA; LI 007, EXTRACTION KIT (EXTRACTIONS JAWS) - this tool is used to spread and cut locks, chains and heavy fortifications with an impressive spreading force of up to 18,000 lbs and a cutting force of up to 60,700 lbs. The unit must be able to run up to 40 minutes with an integral battery. Must have an additional battery that will provide up to 30 additional minutes if needed. The unit must have the following: rapid open/close times, quiet operation, on/off switch and NiCad high performance batteries., 5, EA; LI 008, BATONS- must have a Trumbull stop on side handle must be made of high-grade polycarbonate that won't warp or dent 24" long and weighs 22 ounces Black Must not be collapsible, 450, EA; LI 009, FLEX CUFFS (10 PACK), 450, EA; LI 010, BATTLELAB SHOTGUN STOCK AMMO POUCH - This pouch allows the user to carry the shotgun ammunition on the buttstock of the weapon as opposed to carrying another pouch on the vest., 175, EA; LI 011, SHIPPING, 1, EA; For this solicitation, Department of State intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing quotes, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. Department of State is taking this action in a an effort to improve vendor access and awareness of requests while expediting its ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time offers. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their offer using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make an offer on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
