- The Department of Justice (DOJ) is developing an acquisition strategy for services in support of its eTravel Service (eTS) initiative. The Justice Management Division (JMD) Finance Staff requires one (1) subject matter expert (SME) to support eTS. Support services are to be performed primarily within the Finance Staff offices located at 600 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20530. We are seeking information about small businesses that are capable of providing the support services. Please note that this is a market survey for informational purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). There is no solicitation document available; no contract will be awarded based on this announcement; no reimbursement will be made for costs associated with responding to this announcement; and no telephone calls about this announcement will be accepted or acknowledged. All responses must be submitted via email in accordance with the instructions that follow. The work shall include but is not limited to providing customized training manuals, which include unique DOJ travel regulations and procedures; providing eTS training to DOJ users, system administrators, travel approvers and authorizers; developing eTS migration plans for each of DOJ?s Bureaus, Offices, Boards and Divisions; identifying business process changes; and establishing component system configurations. The person who performs the services must be able to obtain a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background clearance. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561990, Other Support Services, with a size standard of $6 million. The successful vendor?s proposed staff must possess knowledge of and experience with eTS and the DOJ travel program, polices, and procedures. Responses to this announcement must provide detailed, concise information about the company?s qualifications and experience in providing the required support services, within the past three (3) years. All responses shall include a list of up to five (5) projects. Project information shall include the contract number, dollar value, period of performance, current status, and current point of contact information such as name, address, telephone number, and email address. In addition, the response must: 1) State small business size status (small, 8(a), small disadvantaged, HUBZone, service disabled, veteran owned, etc.); and 2) Not exceed seven (7) pages. All responses must be submitted electronically to connie.fortune@usdoj.gov and be received no later than March 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM local time.
