- This is a sole source announcement. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego (SPAWARSYSCEN SAN DIEGO) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a Sole Source basis to AP Labs Inc for the integration and testing of thirty-five FS-9718 chassis assemblies for the EHF SATCOM NECC/TIP system. AP Labs is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the chassis and the technology is proprietary. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Note 22 applies to this requirement except all interest and capability statements must be received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The resulting procurement will conducted in accordance with FAR 13. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334290, and the size standard is 750 employees.
