- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD) intends to solicit and award a single contract to ADSS Inc., 2700 South Kinney Road, Tucson, AZ 85735 on a sole source basis, for the RSA-A1003-2305 hydraulic mast and an installation service. The type of contract will be firm fixed price. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and (2) and FARs 6.302-1 and 2, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and Unusual and compelling urgency. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423690; small business size standard is 100 employees. The estimated release date for the solicitation is 16 March 2005. Electronic copies of the solicitation may be obtained from the SPAWAR E-Commerce website at http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil/ under SSC San Diego "Open Solicitations". Hard copy versions of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be available.
