- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, is seeking information on 8A sources that can provide the Navy with ?facilitator? support to the U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, VA as well as other CONUS locations as required. The contractor shall provide a variety of facilitation skills and tools to assist the Naval Ordnance Enterprise Improvement Process Team (IPT) to manage the dynamics of the group and facilitate the process to achieve goals. The contractor must have experience with executive level facilitation and be familiar with how to form an enterprise. Concepts to include, vision development, mission identification, goals and objectives. Vendor should also have experience with naval operations and naval command structure; ideally Pentagon level experience. For the purposes of small business the NAICS code is 541618 and size standard is $6 million. Your response shall include the following information: size of company, revenue for the past 3 years, relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back 3 years and your company?s capability to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary function area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Selected interested vendors may be offered the opportunity to provide an oral technical presentation to the prospective customer. Offerors shall bring no more than three representatives; two of which shall be key personnel (facilitators) to be provided under the contract and one of which shall be the Program Manager. ?Professional presenters? are prohibited from participating in the presentation. Oral technical presentations will be scheduled with interested vendors as soon as possible after the closing date of this notice. The total oral technical presentation time shall be a maximum of one hour. The Government intends to procure the required services as a direct 8(a) award in accordance with DFARS 219.800. In the event that there are no qualified 8(a) sources, the Government intends to procure the required services as a small business set-aside.
