- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS . No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow- up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential 8(a), HUBZone sources. Responses are restricted to certified 8:a), HubZone small businesses. Status of the 8(a) or Hubzone contractor will be verified via CCR and SBA. The USPFO For Michigan is seeking qualified experienced sources capable of performing a project that includes construction of a new, approximately 16,200 square foot addition to include administrative space, vehicle bay, material storage areas, and maintenance areas at the Battle Creek ANG Base, Battle Creek, Michigan. The project also includes the alteration of approximately 6,000 square foot vehicle storage bays to include new lighting and a new roof. Project includes demolition of existing administrative areas that will make way for new vehicle storage bay. Construction will be phased. The magnitude of the project is bet ween $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and will require contracts to show adequate proof of bonding capacity of a single contract and aggregate bonding capacity. The government is requesting that concerns interested as prime contractors furnish the following inf ormation: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. (2) Type of business, i.e. 8(a), HubZone, under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220. (3) the SBA district office for your firm . (4) provide proof of bonding capability of individual contract and aggregate amount. (5) Notice must include a positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor. (6) Provide a list of ALL RELEVANT projects (government and private) performed wit hin the last three years. Include name, address, telephone number, and email addresses of references for all relevant contracts. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contra ctor. Relevant contracts must be the same or similar to the work described in this announcement. (7) a brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish this contract. In the event adequate Hubzone or 8(a) contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it will be advertised as unrestricted.
