- The proposed effort includes special processing of documents related to Superfund to ensure proper support for cost recovery actions under Section 107 of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act. Superfund cost recovery documentation files must be established, maintained and reconciled with Agency?s financial management systems. The Superfund cost recovery documentation consists of timesheets, travel vouchers, contracts, purchase orders, interagency agreements, etc. The Superfund cost recovery process is to gather the needed financial information, verify its accuracy and correct errors, maintain appropriate hard copy site files, data entry into databases and maintain appropriately linked databases to produce site specific output as needed, prepare financial summaries and assemble the actual cost recovery documentation packages. The base year period of performance will begin on date of contract award (approx. 7/1/05). The contract will have four one-year option periods and may continue through approx. 6/30/10. A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation may be available on or about March 17, 2005, through the Government's website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The approx. closing date may be 30 days after issuance of the RFP. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION and REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR feature which provides notification when the RFP becomes available for download and all postings associated with the solicitation. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted. It is incumbent upon interested parties to register at the solicitation's site for notification and to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
