- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for a portable, skid mounted, self-contained Sponge Media Blast & Recovery System. The system shall be used to abrasive blast metal surfaces, recover and classify the used sponge media, and return the reusable portion of the sponge media to the system for further use. The unit shall operate from a single source supply of dry, compressed air, which delivers 1000 CFM at 100 PSIG. Complete specifications will be included in solicitation. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA. Delivery required on or before 31 MAR 05. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 11 FEB 2005 with a closing date on or about 22 FEB 05. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-FEB-2005).
