Description
The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date for the Capability Statement to March 7, 2005, EST, 1:00 pm. Also the Capability Statement must be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer, Kisha Emmanuel, at kisha.emmanuel@gsa.gov. This Request for Information pertains to ALL vendors (Small or Large). __________________________________________________________________ Request for Information Common Hosting GSA?s Office of Governmentwide Policy, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OGP-CIO) is conducting market research to determine if there are vendors capable of performing work in support of the OGP?s Common Hosting Environment Vendors must be able to provide support in the following key subject areas: (1) Application Hosting (2) Internet World Wide Web Site Operations (3) Database Application Development and Maintenance (4) Custom Application Development and Support (5) Technical Studies and Analyses of Existing and Upcoming Technologies All vendors with the appropriate technical qualifications as it relates to the above key subject areas and attached SOW are invited to submit a Capability Statement. The Capability Statement must (1) address the contractor?s technical and past experience (2) provide examples of relevant technical and past performance, (3) identify the technical and managerial approach for providing solutions to tasks in the SOW, and (4) Vendors should review and provide comments regarding the SOW. OGP-CIO is not requesting a full proposal. Please limit responses to eight (8) pages, single-spaced, size 12 font and only provide the information requested above. The information contained in the Capability Statements will be used to determine the qualifications of the small business community with respect to this requirement. Vendors who are current GSA schedule holders should provide GSA contract number, date of contract expiration, and GSA schedule holder number. All questions must be submitted in writing via email to the Contracting Officer, Kisha Emmanuel, at kisha.emmanuel@gsa.gov, no later than February 7, 2005, EST, 2:00 pm. No questions will be accepted by telephone. The Government reserves the right to edit any questions as needed to protect the identity of the source, but absent this consideration, the Government intends to quote each submitted question verbatim in its response. The Government has targeted, but cannot guarantee a consolidated response to all vendors on or about February 10, 2005. The due date for Capability Statements is February 21, 2005, EST, 1:00 pm. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information provided as a result of this notice and will not recognize or reimburse any cost associated with any RFI submission. For the purposes of this RFI, the term ?vendor? refers to those members of industry providing responses to this RFI. The vendor should identify any proprietary information in their RFI responses. Proprietary materials will neither be distributed nor discussed with any other vendor. The use of information submitted to the Government as a result of this RFI will be at the discretion of the Government. The Government will not provide comments to any vendor?s submission. However, responses to the information submitted may be reflected in the final SOW.
