- FISC San Diego Regional Contracting Department is announcing its intent to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) N00244-05-R-0029 in support of SWRMC, San Diego, for the following services: Removal and installation of insulation/lagging materials, for US Navy vessels in the San Diego, CA area. The services will include: removal of old lagging, installation of new insulation material and asbestos removal. Contractors will be required to provide all labor services and materials in accordance with the established statement of work and all applicable Government specifications and regulations. Inspection and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant Government representative. The successful offeror will be required to have a NavSea approved Quality System (IAW Nav Sea Std Item 009-004), approved and in place no later than 60 days after contract award. The successful offeror will be required to have NavSea approved Process Control Procedures ! (IAW Nav Sea Std Item 009-009) approved and in place no later than 30 days after contract award. These plans are required to be approved and in place before any orders for work are issued by the Government. The Government intends to award a Single Award Firm Fixed Price contract for a base year and three one year options. NAICS: 238990; Business size: $12.0 mil.
