- Sixty (60) Full Digital Authority Controllers (FADC), Woodward part number 8301-1015, for use on CG 47 Class Ships to control and monitor the operation of the Rolls-Royce 501-K17 gas turbine engines aboard these ships, Installation Support Services and Software Update Support for the controllers. It is intended to acquire the required items by placing a combination fixed price and cost plus fixed fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with Woodward Governor, 1000 East Drake Road, Ft. Collins, CO 80525. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered! by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information provided. Control Number N65540-05-R-0015 applies.
