Sources Sought: This is Modification to a Sources Sought notice posted on February 16, 2005 to correct North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and Title, and the the Small Business Size Standard. All other information remain unchanged. THIS IS A SOURCES ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED REQUESTING A BID PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION. THERE IS NO BID PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION. IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PROCUREMENT INTEGRITY OF ANY FUTURE PROCUREMENT, IF ANY, THAT MAY ARISE FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, INFORMATION REGARDING THE TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT WILL NOT BE GIVEN AND NO APPOINTMENT FOR PRESENTATIONS WILL BE MADE. Southwest Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command is seeking sources with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, equipment, and capabilities to perform a contract to provide Environmental Services at various Naval And Marine Installations throughout Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, San Diego, Ventura, Riverside, and Imperial counties. Environmental Services may include Sampling, Field Testing, Laboratory Services, Used Oil Management Services, Hazardous Material and Hazardous Waste (HM/HW) Management, Oil and Hazardous Substance Spill Response and Cleanup Ashore, Groundwater Monitoring, Storm Water Monitoring, and Medical Waste Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562112, Waste Manaagement and Remediation Services and the Small Business Size Standard is $10.5M. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by providing, at a minimum, the following: 1) Experience ? Briefly describe the Government or Commercial contracts your firm has completed in the last five years showing experience in the Environmental Services listed above. Provide contract value, type of contract and period of performance, with a narrative description of the products/services provided by your firm. Experience needs to reflect work performed by your firm and not by a subcontractor. 2) Provide certification that your staff has been appropriately trained to provide all Environmental Services listed above. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this evaluation. However, NAVFAC Southwest Division, San Diego, California, will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. All Data received in response to this sources sought notice marked or designated, as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from the release outside the Government. Please respond to this sources sought announcement by Monday, 28 February 2005 to Southwest Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Code AQ1.RA 1220 Pacific Highway, San Diego Ca 92132-5190. Responses received after the deadline or without the required information shall be considered unacceptable and will not be considered. Since this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to the participants.
