Description
THIS IS A RE-ISSUE WITH CHANGES OF PRIOR, CANCELLED SOLICITATION NO. GDQ051016 UNDER WHICH NO AWARD WAS MADE. ALL PREVIOUS OFFERORS MUST RE-SUBMIT A RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number GDQ051022 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 and 01-27. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 115310 with an associated small business size standard of $15M. CLIN 0001, Estimated 100 priority acres for saltcedar and russian olive mechanical extraction and removing the taproot system in the process with minimal soil surface disturbance. Resultant, extracted trees shall be scattered in designated areas. Equipment offered must be identified and described for evaluation purposes. Ultimate completion date is no later than March 5, 2005 in preparation for planned prescribed fire on March 7, 2005. Payment shall be based on actual treated acres by completion date at the accepted rate. Award of CLIN 0001 will be made in part, in the aggregate, or none. Offer: Quantity _____ acres at $ _____ unit price per acre for a total of $ _____. CLIN 0002 (Option Line Item), Estimated 100 acres for saltcedar and russian olive mechanical extraction and removing the taproot system in the process with minimal soil surface disturbance. Resultant, extracted trees shall be scattered in designated areas. This is in addition to the priority acres cited in CLIN 0001. Period of performance is 30 days from the approximate prescribed fire completion date of March 14, 2005. Acres in CLIN 0001 not treated by completion date of March 5, 2005 may be included for treatment under this option line item CLIN 0002. Payment shall be based on actual treated acres at end of period of performance. Award will be made in part, in the aggregate, or none. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition.
