- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a competitive Firm Fixed Price four-year IDIQ contract, to include a one year basic ordering period and three one year ordering periods, for procurement of Mechanical Housings, applicable to the C-5 aircraft. These housings act as the main housing for the speed sensor assembly that governs the speed of the air turbine motor. NSN: 1650-012328158UC; NOUN: Mechanical Housing; P/N: 364077-1. HEIGHT: 2 inches; WIDTH: 3 inches; DEPTH: 3 inches; WEIGHT 1lb; MATL: Magnesium Alloy. SCHEDULE: The basic ordering period will include 2 each First Article (CLINS 0001AA & 0001AB) one of which will be destroyed during First Article testing, and upon approval of the First Article the additional production quantity (CLIN 0001AC) for the basic ordering period is 10 each. Ordering periods two, three and four (CLINS 1001, 2001 & 3001) consist of the quantity range 1-5 ea. DELIVERY: 2 each First Article due 110 days after contract award. Production articles are due 180 days after approval of the First Article. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 07 March 2005 with the approximate response date of 06 April 2005. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. See local note ?F?
