- This serves as a ?Notice of Intent? to issue a purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13), to CST of America, Inc on a Sole Source basis to purchase maintenance of CST Microwave Studio License. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2001-26 effective 19 January 2005. The Government intends to award a contract for the following line item: maintenance of CST Microwave Studio License. This license renewal is for the period of one year. The license ensures compatibility with current CST software and allows for software upgrades and support. FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and Acceptance: DESTINATION. This requirement is determined to be available only from CST of America, Inc because they are the sole developer of CST Microwave Studio software and it is proprietary in nature. No formal requests will be issued for this procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
