- Description
- The 5th Contracting Squadron (5 CONS), Minot AFB ND, will issue a solicitation on or about 7 March 2005 for Protective Coating Services. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with services to commence on or about 1 Oct 05 (subject to the availability of funds), and to have a minimum value of $100,000.00 and a maximum value of $4,000,000.00 over the life of the contract. The solicitation is restricted to SBA Certified 8(a) firms located in North Dakota. Contract teaming is encouraged as prescribed under the SBA rules for Joint Ventures, Prime Contractor/Sub Contractor arrangements and the SBA or DoD Mentor-Prot?g? Procedures. In addition, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR), and have applicable Representations and Certifications entered in the On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) web site. The Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) wage rates apply. Typical delivery orders will consist of a broad range of protective coating services to include airfield pavement marking, street pavement marking, and applying paint or other coatings to exterior and interior surfaces. The performance period of this contract shall consist of one base year and four follow-on years. There is no guarantee that options on the follow-on years will be exercised. Contract award will be based on performance-price tradeoff (PPT) procedures.
