- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Leap Technologies, Inc. of Carrboro, North Carolina for continuance of maintenance agreements for tobacco and biomonitoring equipment: Leap PAL, cooled tray, and cooled stack instruments. This equipment was purchased from and has been maintained and repaired by Leap Technologies, who are also familiar with all installation and upgrades done on the units, as well as the ancillary equipment used to support the instruments. They provide all telephone support, repairs by qualified engineers, and coverage of all parts and travel. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. However, information received will be considered solely for information purposes only.
