- The Defense Logistics Agency, Enterprise Support Directorate intends to award on a sole source basis a fixed price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Westfields Marriott Conference Center in Chantilly, Virginia, under the authority of (FAR) Part 6.302-1, for the annual DLA Enterprise Support Conference on March 15-17, 2005. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire meeting room accommodations for a period of three days. The requirement is for eleven (11) breakout rooms, seven (7) need audio visual support, specifically projection equipment, and one (1) breakout room needs internet access capability. In addition to the meeting rooms, meals, and accomodation for approximately 125 overnight guests within the government per diem, and 40 day guests (total 165 conference attendees), self-parking, and easy access to and from Dulles International Airport are required. This is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone requests will be honored. Award will be made using commercial simplified acquisition procedures.
