Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 002 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR MIL-STD-1553 INTERFACED BOARD. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to ADDRESS QUESTIONS/CONCERNS. Question: Based on the specification, "Must support 1553B - Multifuctional as up to 31 Remote Terminals, Bus controller, and Bus Monitor", clarify if it must be capable of supporting each requirement individually or if it must be able to support all the requirements simultaneously? Answer: The boards must be able to do the Remote Terminals and Bus Monitoring at the same time. It is not required that it do the Bus controller at the same time, but it would be great if it did. Concern: This solicitation is listed as a "small business set aside" and size standard is listed for 1000 people/employees, therefore this excludes "small disadvantaged or disabled businesses". Response: The small business set aside solicitations, incorporates all businesses that are classified as small businesses and that meet the size standard, which includes the small disadvantaged, small service disabled, small veteran-owned, small women-owned, and small HUBZone. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on February 24, 2005.
