- The U.S. Coast Guard National Maritime Center (USCG NMC) is soliciting quotes for a custom built server. This is a firm fixed supply contract. This will be a best value award using the following criteria for award. Low price will account for 80% of the criteria and the proposed components list/configuration will account for 20% of the award criteria. The server will be built using the following minimum components. Manufacturer part numbers are provided but quotes can contain ?or equivalent? items. The exception to the ?or equivalent? citation is the Microsoft software. Server is to be built and shipped complete to the USCG NMC. Contract will be considered complete once the server is placed on the network and working as required by the USCG NMC. The media must be forwarded with the server to USCG NMC. Technical questions will be addressed to the Contracting Officer via email only. Vendor questions and answers will be posted on FEDBIZOPS as supplements to this solicitation. It is highly recommended that vendors register for receive notifications to this synopsis/solicitation. By submission of a quote, the responder acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to the award of this contract. Quotes may be submitted electronically as an email attachment, by fax, or by USPS. Quotes should be prepared on company letterhead, cite companies Tax ID number and DUNS, and a certification of companies size and concern type (FAR 52.212-3). Quote must contain the proposed configuration with manufacturer part numbers and total price for the complete server. Individual parts do not have to be priced out.
