- Description
- This solicitation is for road maintenance. Contractor will provide all equipment, labor materials, tools, supervision, including safety and other incidentals necessary to perform all road maintenance activities within the boundaries of the Tusquitee, Cheoah, Uwharrie, Croatan and Highlands Ranger Districts, including all road easements, right of ways, well site, turnarounds, drainage structures or other activities similar in nature. The work consists of routine maintenance activities such as blading/grading, cleaning of culverts, pulling of ditches, slide stabilization, mowing, seeding, sign/gates and equipment rental normally associated with gravel and native-material single and double lane roads, parking lots, soil and water restoration, facility grounds and other activities similar in nature. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards from the single solicitation that will be issued. The resulting single award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity task order contract(s) will be for a base period and two option years. The entire contract ceiling price for each District is estimated to be $500,000. The size standard for this solicitation is $6 million under NAICS code 115310. Solicitation should be available on this web site on or about 22 Dec 2004. The solicitation is set-aside for small business participation only. There will be a site visit held. Details will be included in the solicitation. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings.
