- Exterior Door Replacement, Federal Building & US Courthouse, 517 E. Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI. General Services Administration (GSA) has a need to repair and renovate the three west employee entrance doors at the indicated location. This project will include the replacement of three pairs of exterior entrance doors and associated door hardware, the stripping (removal of existing lead paint), repair and repainting of the existing door frames (to remain in place) and the removal, stripping, cleaning, painting, and reinstallation of existing cast iron transoms. Due to the historic status of the building, care must be taken with all building elements affected by the work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238350 with size standard of $12 million. The estimated range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The completion time is 190 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) date. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about March 2, 2005. Specification and detailed requirements will be furnished with the solicitation and will be available via Federal Technical Data System (FedTeDS) to all interested parties. Those interested may gain access to FedTeDS by first registering with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov (you must have a valid Duns number issued by Dun & Bradstreet to register). Contractors will obtain a CCR PIN and CAGE Code after registering successfully.
