- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is seeking information from qualified businesses that provide records management services. The OCC is transitioning from paper to electronic records and is considering the consolidation of its numerous records centers (e.g. human resources; finance; legal; IT; library). The consolidation would include active and inactive records. The primary requirements include: Knowledge of electronic records software and applications; experience in electronic record keeping processes. Managing and staffing record centers/file rooms. Creating and managing records through the life cycle of the records. Developing and documenting records management procedures. Maintaining OCC forms, the forms web page, and forms catalogue. Performing records management audits. Appraising and developing records schedules. Accessioning inactive records to the Federal Records Center. Researching and responding to records requests. Training in records management procedures. Cataloging the library?s new titles and serials (periodicals) for the collection using OCLC and EOSI databases. Managing the library?s periodicals. Circulating, loaning and borrowing publications from area libraries. Routing, filing/shelving publications. Preparing materials for binding.
