- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to modify existing contract N00140-98-C-G233 with San Diego City College in order to allow for an additional six (6) months of Education and Training Services, which includes curriculum maintenance, curriculum development, and instruction to support the Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC), Pensacola, FL beginning 01 April 2005 and ending 30 September 2005. This action is required in order to provide a continuity of services and to allow sufficient time to finalize and process the requirements of a competitive follow-on contract. The solicitation for the follow-on requirement, N00140-05-R-0026, is available at: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Services will be required for courses in the areas of: Avionics, Air Traffic Control, Mechanical, and Air Training Services. San Diego City College is considered the only supplier of these services at this time, as they are the only company which can support the immediate needs of the Government without a costly start-up period. This contract is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or to submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not pay for information received.
