- THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED TO U.S. AND CANADIAN FIRMS. DESC: NSN: 1005-01-036-7160, Part Number 11825992, The item to procure is a Collar, Gas Regulator consisting of Nut, fastener regulator 11825993; Rivet 11825996; Washer, keyway 11825995; Pin , straight, headed 11825994. The solicitation will be a 5 Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 20,000 and a maximum contract quantity of 200,000. FOB is destination. For use on the M240 & M249 Machine Gun. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY05 requirement. Estimated issue date is 01 MAR 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.1 02, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. This solicitation incorpo rates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Before a TDP package can be provided, a non-disclosure and non-use agreement must be completed and emailed to pearsonj@ria.army.mil or faxed to (309) 782-0241. The non-disclo sure and non-use agreement will be provided as an attachment to the solicitation. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the non-disclosure and non-use agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US Government require s the items procured to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture, the items being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access th e above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
