DESC: 5340-01-032-8147, Part Number 11826213, The item to procure is a Back Plate Latch F/M240 MG (5340-01-032-8147) is a small close tolerance machined part from aluminum alloy 2014, finish required is anodic coating, class 2, color black. The appro ximate size is 1.02 IN X .35 IN X .92 IN. Requirements are contract min: 1,100 and contract max: 8,000, back plate latch. FOB is destination. For use on the M240C machine gun. Estimated issue date is 2 March 2005. This solicitation will be issued elect ronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais /SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
