- This serves as a ?Notice of Intent? to issue a purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13), to Clear Methods on a Sole Source basis to purchase software for simulating scattering scenarios on super computers. The software will be used in all aspects of electromagnetic scattering research for project oriented computational purposes. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2001-26 effective 19 January 2005. The Government intends to award a contract for the following line item: XML Framework for Algorithm Innovation for Steam Software Development Environment P/N: XFAI. The Clear Methods software is required to remain compatible with software routines previously developed under Steam XML software for space time adaptive processing analysis. FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and Acceptance: DESTINATION. This requirement is determined to be available only from Clear Methods because they are the only known source of XML Framework fo rAlgorithm Innovation software that meets Government requirements. No formal requests will be issued for this procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
