- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is projecting a May/June 2005 award of an information technology support contract that will include a two-year base period and three one-year option periods. The base contract plus all options if exercised is estimated at $100M. This procurement is for satellite navigation technical engineering, customer integration of satellite navigation into the national airspace system, oversight of installation of new system components, support to the control, operations, and maintenance of the operational system, and program management support services in support of the FAA's GPS Product Team.
