- Description
- The Office of the Director, Office of Dietary Supplements, (ODS), National Institutes of Health is seeking industry non-profit associations and foundations which currently have and maintain a database of dietary supplement labels to develop, create, continually update, maintain and make available to Government and research entities a database of all supplement labels sold in the United States. The creation of this database would allow ODS to have access for research purposes of all known supplements manufactured in the United States and to allow access by other Federal agencies for ensuring the safety to consumers, through the mandatory listing of ingredients in these products on the label, who purchase supplements manufactured and/or sold in the United States. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. No RFP is available at this time. Organizations that believe they possess the capability necessary to undertake the work described should submit, to the named Contracting Officer, an original and two (02) copies of their capability statement by 4:00 p.m., local time prevailing, March 3, 2005. The NAICS code is 541710. No collect calls will be accepted.
