Description
The purpose of this Amendment is to post questions received and responses to those questions, to extend the due date for responses, and to change the primary point of contact for NIST for this RFQ. All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain unchanged. Response due date and time is hereby extended to 12:00:00pm on Friday, February 25, 2005. Responses must be received at the following email address by that date and time: Myrsonia.Diaz@nist.gov Primary point of contact for this RFQ is changed to Joseph.Widdup@nist.gov. Questions received for this RFQ and responses to them: 1. What is the make and model of the TEM onto which the CCD will be installed? RESPONSE: JEOL 1200EX TEM; Serial Number 157083-511 2. Are there any other detectors, i.e. dark field, PEELS, etc., mounted on >the on-axis bottom port? RESPONSE: No. 3. Is the 16 bit data for binned or unbinned imaging? RESPONSE: For the 16 bit data, the binning factor must be adjustable (2x2,4x4, 8x8). 4. Is there a CCD full well requirement? RESPONSE: No. 5. Does the scintillator need to be optimized for high resolution or high sensitivity? RESPONSE: The scintillator shall be optimized for material applications. The specimens of interest are materials samples, not biological samples.
