Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; electronic proposals are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HC013-05-T-2045, is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This acquisition is unrestricted. NAICS: 421730. Schedule of items: CLIN 0001- Air Conditioner Units, ceiling mounted. CLIN 0002 - Installation - turnkey. CLIN 0003 Relocation of an air conditioner. This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements and responsibilities for the acquisition of a turnkey installation for 2 each new 8-ton ceiling mounted air conditioning units and the relocation of an existing 5 ton Air Conditioning Unit in Bldg 3189 on Scott AFB IL 62225. Request a turnkey installation of 2 each new 8-ton ceiling-mounted air-conditioning units, in the DISA CONUS SCIF area room # 15-B. The existing 5-ton A/C unit currently located in the SCIF, room#15-B is to be relocated in the Telephone Switch Room, room #27. A Site Survey, at no cost to the Government, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Central Savings Time on Friday, 18 Feb 2005. Mr. Clarence Tarry at 618-229-8889, will be the Point of Contact and must be contacted no later than 11:00 a.m. CST on Thursday, 17 Feb 2005 for attendance of theSite Survey. The vendor is required to provide all labor, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to accomplish the required task. All work is to be performed IAW all local state, and federal engineering codes. As the scope of this work for the aforementioned project, vendor will: Survey site to determine existing conditions as they pertain to available electrical capacity, working environment etc. Remove (1) 5-ton Liebert Mini-Mate air conditioning unit from room #33 and re-install it in room #27 Telephone Switch Room. Vendor must include all associated refrigerant lines and duct work. Provide and install two (2) new 8- ton, ceiling mount, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) Units and associated condensing units. Associated outdoor condensing units to be mounted on new pad outside of building. Provide and install all necessary ductwork including diffusers. Provide new fencing screen around pad and condensing units to match existing. New units are to be supplied with humidification and reheat. Provide and install new refrigerant piping as required. Insulate refrigerant piping as required. Provide all necessary electrical disconnects, wire, conduits and materials for turnkey installation. Provide Start-up and checkout of new units. Provide temporary cooling as required during installation. Installation schedule will be coordinated with DISA/CONUS. Provide commercial standard parts and labor warranty. Note: All work will be accomplished during normal duty hours (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The installation schedule is to be coordinated with the DISA CONUS Facility Manager before the actual start date is given. Method of payment is credit card. The Contractor shall provide the mailing address and toll free telephone number of their billing center, (responsible for servicing the Agency), to assist in resolving billing issues and discrepancies. The U.S. Government requests discounted pricing on all services ordered. Installations and relocations to be complete by 15 Mar 2005 under DITCO solicitation HC1013-05-T-2045. FAR 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 shall not apply to this acquisition. Award shall be made based on lowest price. Proposals shall include a completed copy of provisions at FAR 52.212-3. FAR 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition: The following additional FAR clause applies to this acquisition 52.232-33. DFARS 252.212-7001 applies to this acquisition.
