Description: The Center for Domestic Preparedness intends to negotiate on an urgent and sole source basis with WASTREN, Inc., for an additional 6-month performance period under Contract OJP-99-C-0013 for Facility Operations Support Services. The current contract expires February 28, 2005. The follow-on contract under Solicitation No. OJP-2004-R-002 was awarded on December 1, 2004. An Agency Level Protest was filed against the award on December 6, 2004. No other company could immediately perform all services currently being provided by WASTREN starting March 1, 2005 without incurring substantial cost, and causing unacceptable delays.
