- U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) has a requirement to operate, lease, and maintain facilities for the Application Support Center Program. USCIS intends to issue a sole source bridge contract for a base of 6 months with two (2) three-month option periods, to Vinnell Corporation, located in Fairfax, VA for these services. The requirement includes biometric collection; mobile route operations, application collection, scheduling, facility management, and other program support for individuals seeking immigration benefits. Biometrics capture and other services are being performed by approximately 1,200 contractor staff at 137 government or contractor-leased ASCs throughout the USA and its territories. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received within 15 days of this posting. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A Request for Proposal (RFP) package is not available. The estimate for release of a draft Request for Proposal for the ASC re-competition effort is in the April 2005 timeframe.
