- Notice of Intent to issue an award to Bell Canada Gateways, for telephone equipment and installation in order to upgrade and expand the existing Nortel system for approximately 80 users. New requirements include: integration of separate intercom systems, Transfer of calls to extension numbers without using outside numbers and multipurpose greeting to direct callers to the appropriate area or an extension number of a person. Bell Canada is the current installation and maintenance provider for the current equipment. Therefore, the proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Allproposals received prior to the closing date and time of this announcement will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
