- This requirement is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Marine Corps Systems Command, on behalf of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, is soliciting for forty five (45) GEMTECH HALO Sound Suppressors and six (6) TPR-S 30 cal Rifle Suppressors for AR-10. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation is M67854-05-Q-9025. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Gemini Technologies, Inc., 1117 E plaza Dr., Ste. C1, Eagle, ID 83616. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 332994 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The following requirement is: CLIN 0001: Qty 45 U/I EA GEMTECH HALO Sound Suppressors and CLIN 0002 Qty 6 TPR-S 30 cal Rifle Suppressors for AR-10. FOB Destination: Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, Attn: Jeanne Pierson/Capt. McDonel, 387 Roan St., Quantico, VA 22134. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The required delivery date is no later than 10 March 2005. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. The following provisions apply to this solicitation, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offerors Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, and 252.225-7035 Buy American Act--Free Trade Agreements--Balance of Payments Program Certificate with their quote. Commercial Simplified Procedures shall be used for this procurement. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same.
