- FISC Norfolk Philadelphia Division intends to solicit on a sole source commercial items basis per FAR part 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR part 13.5 with Gambro BCT Inc of Lakewood, CO, for Trima Accel RBC/Platelet set catalog # 777-800-400 in support of the Armed Service Blood Bank Center National Naval Medical Center Bethesda, MD. The requirement calls for the delivery of 12 cases of the Trima Accel RBC/Platelet sets monthly for an annual total quantity of 144 cases per year. The estimated period of performance will consist of a base period of 7 months starting starting 1 March 05 through 30 Sept 05 and will include up to four one year option periods. A firm fixed price purchase order is the expected result from this acquisition effort. The NACIS code for this effort is 446110. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Clinger Cohen act, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A copy of the RFQ will be posted upon its release on the NECO website @ www.neco.navy.mil.
