This proposed acquisition is for a requirements contract which will be segregated into five (5) program periods with orders to be issued one or m ore times as requirements materialize. However, this does not preclude the Government from ordering the maximum quantity at any time during the requirements period. The known quantity is 15 and the maximum quantity is 67. This requirement requires one ( 1) each, first article submitted for testing. Delivery Schedule 230 days after contract award. 100 days for production of first article, 30 days testing and 100 days for delivery of production quantity. Delivery schedule without first article, 100 days after contract award. Destinations to be furnished. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Offe rors must be approved and qualified. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement , makes contact with firm(s) listed. The Government does not possess adequate documentation to acquire from other than the approved source. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassie s.
