- Description
- United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Raytheon, Falls Church, Virginia, for the Digital Video Broadcast Server (DVBS) Engineering Development Models (EDMs) (RF miniaturization and audio/video/data receive capabilities). Requirements include identifying and providing technical follow on labor support and training for ten (10) DVBS EDMs during the operator assessment. Technical support shall consist of experienced personnel with DVBS troubleshooting and fault isolation skills for the purpose of this technology evaluation. This equipment has been developed, built, tested, and delivered to the Government by Raytheon, Falls Church, VA. As the original equipment developer and manufacturer, Raytheon is the only one capable of assisting with user training as well as providing technical assistance and support to help assess the utility of this technology. The contractor shall purchase miscellaneous components in support of troubleshooting system or component failures as required to return units to operational status. The contractor may be required to travel and troubleshoot failures and make repairs to DVBS units at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. See note 22.
