Description

Solicitation 8005-32 provides for Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs fire suppression program at Whiteriver, Arizona. The airplane will be based at Show Low Airport (SOW), Show Low, AZ. 7 days per week. The exclusive use period will be April 1, 2005 - July 15, 2005; 106 calendar days. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contract requires a single turbine engine powered agricultural airplane with a payload of at least 799 US gallons of material weighing 7,351 pounds. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is February 11, 2005. The solicitation will be available at this site and www.oas.gov/dam.
