- Notice to award single source contract to Swaim Biological Consulting for two-year research effort to assist the USFWS in assessing the genetics of the San Francisco Garter Snake. This will be a joint effort between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service, Swaim Biological Consulting, and San Francisco State University. The resulting information will be used to direct and refine the management of a critically endarngerd species. Swaim Biological Consulting possesses genetic samples from wild-captured San Francisco garter snakes and can can perform necessary work within the specified timeframe. Contract completion date will be June 30, 2006. Contractor must supply all labor, equipment, permits, materials and supplies necessary and required. Response date 2/14/2005.
