- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement, number F1329750070100, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-26 and Defense DCN 2005-0113. If (2) two or more responsible and technically acceptable small businesses respond, this acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business; if not, it will be unrestricted. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is W023 The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7514. The North American Industry Classification System is 532111 and the associated business size standard is $21,500,000.00. This request for quotation consists of three (3) items as follows: Item 0001: 4 each - Model year 2005, 15 passenger van(s), Item 0002: 2 each - Model year 2005, 7 passenger van(s), and Item 0003: 2 each - Model year 2005, full size, 5 passenger sedan(s). Substitution of vehicle type or change in quantity vehicle type may be required during performance of this contract. . Delivery is FOB Destination to Travis AFB, CA. The period of performance is 01 Mar 05 through 30 Sep 05. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition. 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration. FAR 52.208-4 Vehicle Lease Payments. FAR 52.208-5 Condition of Leased Vehicles. FAR 52.208-6 Marking of Leased Vehicles. FAR 52.209-6 Protecting the Government's Interest When Subcontracting With Contractors Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. Award will be based on price. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items; use http://orca.bpn.gov for online registration, required as of 01 Jan 05. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items will be incorporated into any resultant Purchase Order by reference.
