- This is an Industry Day Conference invitation that will be hosted by HQ Operations and Sustainment Systems Group (OSSG)(AFMC) for the Defense Message System (DMS) - Sustainment effort. This is only an invitation to participate in this conference and does not constitute either an invitation for bid or a request for proposal. The Industry Day Conference will be conducted on 23 February 2005 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Auditorium in Bldg 892, Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL. The Industry Day Conference will consist of briefings revolving around the DMS-Sustainment technical requirements. A draft Performance Work Statement, draft Contract Line Item Number structure, draft of selected clauses, and draft Contract Data Requirement Lists are available at website: https://ossg.gunter.af.mil/aq/dmssustainment. Also at the website are questions received from the Request for Information (RFI) and the government's responses to those questions. Participants may submit questions to either Chris Mitchell or Gail Sosa. We expect to have answers at the Industry Day Conference for those questions submitted by 11 February 05. We encourage participants to submit the questions as they are generated. (There will be an opportunity to submit questions at the conference and afterwards.) All questions and answers (including those provided on Industry Day) will be posted to the website on or about 4 March 2005. All interested parties planning to attend are requested to contact Gail Sosa at 334-416-3163 or via email, mailto:gail.sosa@gunter.af.mil no later than 18 February, 4:00 p.m. CST, with the name, email address, work number, and company affiliation of the attendee(s). Pre-registered attendees will be allowed in the auditorium at 7:30 a.m. Non-registered attendees will be allowed in the auditorium at 8:00 a.m., if seating permits. Participation in the Industry Day conference is voluntary. The information presented herein will not obligate the Government in any manner. Subcontractors may attend with their potential prime contractors. All briefings presented during Industry Day will be posted on the DMS-Sustainment web page at the following URL: https://ossg.gunter.af.mil/aq/dmssustainment. Please print and bring your own copy of the posted briefings to the conference. The Government will not reimburse the attendees for any cost associated with participation and is under no obligation to award any related contract associated with this event.
