- Description
- The A/E will provide complete drawings and specifications for the design of 22 air flow stations for isolation rooms. Work will include design of seperate VAV and reheat to one room and seperate VAV to three rooms. It will also include DDC Controls to monitor and connect to existing control system, audible and visual alarms for static pressure, door alarms air balance on the 11 isolation rooms, control wiring, system testing, validation, training, and as-built drawings. Work will include but not be limited to mechanical and electrical diciplins. Drawing submittals will be required at 30, 60, and 90 percent design phase. 90% review will include both drawings and specifications. Preliminary cost estimate is due at 60% review. A/E will also provide construction period design services. Estimated completion time is June 30, 2005. Estimated construction cost is $250,000 - $500,000. SF330 should be submitted to the contracting officer NLT 3/7/2005. All questions should be submitted in writing and either faxed, emailed, or mailed. A/E firms must be located within 350 mile radius of the Amarillo VA facility as determined by the most current Rand McNalley Road Atals. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE ISSUED.
